Sarah Ang grew up in Singapore and graduated from University College London, where she studied English Literature. She has won multiple international awards for her writing, including first place in the Wilbur Smith Author of Tomorrow Award, first place in the iYeats Poetry Competition (Emerging Category), first place in the National University of Singapore Creative Writing Competition, first place in the IGGY LITRO Young Writers Award, second place in the Walter Swan Poetry Prize, second place in the Alpine Fellowship Academic Writing Prize. Her work has also been featured in publications including Mithila Review, Alexandria Quarterly, Eunoia Review, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore and Idle Ink, among others.
